Saw them live last night. They were supported by Idlewild and the Zutons, both were great but didn't compare to REM. What do you guys think of them?

I don't like all of their stuff. But they have done a few good songs. One of my bands (Afterglow) used to include The One I Love in our live set.

REM are good, I was going to go to the Gig this evening in hyde park, but the others I were going to go with decided to cancel...

The support for the Hyde park gig was idlewild, the Zutons and feeder.

Idlewild are excellent, one of my favourate bands.

I went to see them on the 18th June, excellant gig. Put on a great live show. They were supported by Moby (also a good performance, though I don't like his music), The Zutons (whose singer spent too much time talking), Ambulance Inc (or something like that) and the Devlins. Didn't bother going early enough to see the last two bands.

The venue was fucking amazing, it was an outdoor gig right beside the sea, set in a park. Absolutely amazing view, especially on a sunny day.

Think of this view but much wider, on a beautiful sunny day, with alcohol and music. The stage had its back to the sea so you were looking straight out on it.

I like them, especially their early stuff (although I havent heard most of their last records)

Wen i saw them they were supported by Idlewild and The Zutons. The Hyde Park gig was cancelled because of the bombs.
