Ideals America has Picked up over the years

This is my first post and to gather knowledge of what some of the readers believe i pose this question. I am raised relitively Rightwinged, but my parents allow me to explore my own beliefs and choose accordingly So i guess i am in the right place to gain knowledge. Has america become more communistic since WWII with the acts of social security has america turned more tolaterian whats your view ?

Its been slowly drifting towards national-populism, not exactly fascism (yet), but it is in that relative direction.

What do you expect anyways? America is the stronghold of reactionary beliefs and its people are force fed the commodity culture. There is also this "fear culture" in America, the American people are always brainwashed of having an enemy, let it be the Soviets during the Cold War or the Islamic Fundalmentalists of today as the "bad guys"; a feature in similarity with Fascism.

definitly more toltalitarian. With such things as the patriot act, the possibility of restricting our freedom of speech by making flag burning illeagle, rampant police brutality (although I have never experienced this personally), to the gulag of our time (guantanimo bay) Amerika has become more toltalitarion.
