We have all heard of brain chips if you havent basically they are chips which connect nerves in the brain. so you can think about turning a tv off and it will turn off.

So I was reading an article on this in new scientist and it suggested that every person could have one of these chips inserted into them and that all these chips could communicate over the brai nchip internet or something like. Which means that each person could communicate telepathically. And also you could see what other people saw you could feel what over people felt you could share emotions. And perhaps one day the idea of being by yourself would dissapear.

Would this be the ersion of the inividual? Would humans become one single mind? Is this a bad or good thing?

I doubt it will happen - people are very attatched to their individuality.

Although it is possible that the people you know on the brain chip internet could become a part of your personal community like your real life friends and workmates.

The world will probably seem a bit smaller.

This idea is quite creepy...losing one's individuality and privacy seems unthinkable.
