Terrorists have a message, an opinion, a viewpoint just like politicians be that whatever it is.

Why is it that they comment acts of terror then because people stop listening to what you have to say as soon as you start to kill people. Countries unite in getting rid of them as opposed to actually taking in what they say. They may illustrate a point but the fact they maim and kill is pointless. What drives them to do it?

Most terrorists become violent because they can see no other means of gaining what they want. Maybe they're like the Palestinians, where they "die to survive" because they do not believe Palestinian oppression will not end through negotiations. On the otherhand, terrorists who kidnap etc for a ransom, use terror because it is very unlikely that if you walk up to a bank and ask for the money they're going to give it to you.

In case if the Palestinians there is only has one totally understandable reason: The Jews took there land and now there have no other option then to fight ... what do they have to lose? NOTHING ... There is a misunderstanding for this word (terror) .. the Media has an important effects , as the American Media , when they let the palestinians Terrorists , and the israelis Victims !!! what a world.

The majority of people on this site support the Palestinian cause, they just don't support their methods of attacking civilians. Yes, the IDF do the same thing but the eye for an eye logic will do nothing. If the Palestinians want to gain increased public support, they need to stop attacking innocent civilians and attack the state through military installations and government offices.

I agree with Che Entifada- the press use the words terrorist and terror too often these days.
These words create instant fear in most people and they don't want to know the reasons behind the attacks or violence they are just labeled terrorists. This is the case with the american press and the Palestinians. Its classic Wild west shit with the Settlers as the good guys and the Palestinians being portrayed as the baddies. Irish press is more sympathetic to the Palestinian cause I am glad to say. ok .. let me remind u , before about 2 or 3 months Hamas and Al-Jihad told israel that they wont do any attacks inside the occupied lands 1948 (what is called israel thses days) .. in the other hand they should not attack the civilians .. after 2 days , the israeli F16 attacked a suburb in Gazza and killed 17 palestinians .. they said that there is one of Hamas leaders in the building !!!!!!!!!!
They wanted to kill 1 ... they missed !!!! and killed 17 !!!

i think this is insulting considering the fact that my gradfathers had to suffer anti semite regimes and two of them had the plesure to expirence stalinism. i don't think that people in poland are anti semite, but i was born HERE. it is like teling some u.s citizen "go back to england. we are giving america to the natives." i will admit that israel immigration laws are racist, but you cannot throw away people that allready live in some place. a lot of people here came from russia after the fall of communism. if you are thinking about sending people to the extreme poverty in russia, you are heartless. and if you are thinking to send ethiopian jews back to ethiopia, that have a political crisis and there economic situation is crap, you have no heart.

The state of Israel should never have been created at the expense of the Palestinian people but its been created now and there is no chance in hell that it would or should be desconstructed now and that all Israelis should leave the country. The focus should be on unity rather than segregation. I would agree though that Israeli settlers across the 1948 borders should be displaced back to Israel not on grounds that they're not Palestinian therefore they shouldn't live there but for the simple fact of giving the Palestinians places to live instead of the hellhole's that are the refugee camps.

listen my friend your question has been asked many times and it just highlites your naivity, go educate yourself.

your question does not deserve an answer but try reasoning with a brick wall, ask it to move. when it doesnt move you have your answer to why freedom fighters have to resort to violence and try and break the wall down.

Wasn't Che himself a militant and isn't the idea of Revolution mainly about violence. Terroists is a phrase used by the governments in the world to make the masses hate people who stand up for a belief in a violent way as many of you have said because it is the only way. US and UK leaders just turn round so the masses will stay in rank and not question what was done in places like Afghanistan and Palestine.
