The biggest since Vietnam! You have no idea how excited I am.
Legend has it that when the president looked outside his window and saw 800,000 protestors outside, he said that the Vietnam war would last longer.
This will be a world-wide movement, people all across the world will be marching with us. I haven't heard one thing about this on mass media, but I'll be damned if they can censor it for that long. Saturday is the day I will be proud to be a citizen of peace.
Now it is our turn to use our weapon of mass destraction on the media and governments of the world. The wake-up call given to humanity by humanity itself. The element needed for those in power to realize that they will not wage a war in our name. This will be our march, our statement, and our victory.

there was one in london last month and i could have gone but was elsewhere, one of my mates went though, it got a lot of press over her, over 400,000 people marched! Although i disagree with bombing iraq, they have to do something...

My friends and I are going to take as many pictures as we can. Maybe get some video footage too. This is a world-wide movement. You might find other places to march.

The feeling in London was that nothing will surpress the appetite of those who have much to gain from the fall Of saddam. Innocent lives are inevitible in the pursuit of power and wealth. I also agree that something needs to be done, but what? After all MOST of Iraq supports Saddam and his ideals and would celebrate another September 11th type attack. The way I see it is that these people are clearly our enemies. Doing nothing will simply pave the way for them to continue developing their own war machines.

Where did you get your information? I find that very interesting. I reckon, and this is only my opinion, I have little to back this up and that little isn't even concrete, anyway I reckon that deep down the Iraqis celebrate the attacks because we in the West have hardly helped them and they want seom revenge. If, instead, we did what we could for a regime change that was as peaceful as possible, giving the land to the people who live there by right, instead of going in there and taking what we can of the oil, etc. They also probably celebrate the attacks because they don't know an awful lot about us, they only know what they have been exposed to, and like us with them, I expect that it is pretty selective. I hope you understadn what i am saying, I know I'm being a bit vague.
Considering the West, I don't blame them for celebrating, in a way I celebrated 9/11 (that does not make me sick, I did not approve of the deaths and the tragedies).
How did the demo go, by the way?
