Here are some pics of a demo/march/protest i attended with the Socialist party (uk) just yesterday. We drove to Scotland (9 hours on coach) stayed for a day then drove back.

One of our members was attacked (physically) by a "make poverty history" capaigner. Of course we were "make capitalism history" and i think many make poverty history people are middle class, pro capitalists who really dont have a clue as to how they are going to make poverty history.

Anyway, enjoy:

Why did an MPH'er attack a Socialist? Jesus, most of them come from pacifist church groups :o

I thought there was a good Socialist prescense at the demo, all the SSP'ers made sure we all wore Red and not white :)

Were you present at the ad hoc SSP meeting on the meadows? If not it was basically to deal with the SSP's suspension from the Scottish Parliament for disrupting the parliament, by protesting for the right to demonstrate at Gleneagles.
Our MSP's are going to be suspended without pay, and we are going to take the parliament to court over employment legislation ;)

Still, a great day even though it took ages for the march to actually start.
