I already have bakunin, I need one more male, and two females preferably, one if that's all that you can think of.

Second I need to know what year the paris commune massacre took place.

I'd prefer writers who had published prior to the paris event but i'm flexible.

I know I could find the info on the net, probably on this site, but i'm lazy. <_< and who needs a communist encyclopedia when we have you guys.

I found another one I would like to know. Whoever gets this get's bonus points.

Who is credited with first publishing the political grid, thereby ending the insufficient reign of the left right line spectrum.

I know there was one more that had me stumped but can't recall it so i'll just edit this post later and add the last question.

There may even be prizes :o :D

Pierre-Joseph Proudhon is probably the most well-known anarchist after Bakunin.

For an early anarchist writer Proudhon is the best choice and a female: Emma Goldman is the best known female anarchist.

There was also an ex-slave woman who was an anarchist. The library at the local college had a book on her. I can't remember her name, though.

Proudhon and Emma Goldman were prominent anarchist writers that I know of.

Umm how about:
William Godwin
Johann Kaspar Schmidt ( Max Stirner)
Benjamin R. Tucker

And of course Proudhon, Bakunin, Kropotkin and Tolstoi.

But lemme tell you I haven't read a lot by any of these people, I just have a book on "The Great Anarchists- Ideas and teachings of seven major thinkers". I haven't gotten around to reading it in depth, but I do know that just by the cover they are all very sexy!

Thanks you guys are handy. Does Proudhon have a first name?

and any of the other questions? I am really close to finishing my personal 'Manifesto'. Say 'Manisfesto', it just rolls off your tounge. 'Mmmanifesstooo'.That, or the first chapter of a book, depending on how ambitious I feel. But I'm so close to finishing it it's driving me nuts.

From my understanding neither Marxist trends or anarchist trends where big before 1871 Paris commune and the likes.

Berkman, he was the shit man.

Not that early but thats why I like him all the better.

He puts things in slightly more modern perspective and his writing so light and easy to read yet at the same time informative and scientific.

Some of the other authors get a bit heavy and hard to read/comprehend

I think he means this political grid:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_compass

It's based on the Nolan Chart:http:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nolan_Chart

It was invented by David Nolan,a right wing libertarian.

FINALLY!!!!!!!! Someone finally remembers Murray Bookchin. He is without a doubt the greatest anarchist author ever... Well, fine, their are plenty of doubts but I think he is.
