Insert generic introduction thread title here

A friend of mine told me about this forum so I thought that I would check it out. I really like what I have seen so far. It is hard for me to describe myself politically so I would just say that I am confused. I am on the left, however I do not know enough about communism, socialism, or any political “stance” to say that I agree with those views. I am certain, however, that I am not a republican.
As for the other obligatory introductory stuff: I am a 24 year old male mechanic from Florida in the states. I spend most of my time reading, caring for my pets, arguing with friends about pointless things (what else are friends for?), trying to not talk about cars (or anything automotive for that matter), and being tired.
I look forward to learning more from this site through discussion and the links provided throughout.

I have not woken up fully yet so I apologize for any errors in my post or if it is not coherent. :blink:

Not to go too far dow the rabbit hole, but believing in nothing is believing in something. So being a nihilist is really self defeating when you think about it. Anyhow, as far as the 'jackass posts' EneMe referred to, well, I haven't made any of those in the last 24 hours. So you're safe, for now anyway.
