This is a link for all the residential children who spout "Anti-Semitic" at any given opportunity. Here is a perfect example of their idea of "Anti-Semitism" - ONLY THIS EXAMPLE INVOLVES PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY ARE JEWISH!

And, as I mentioned in another thread, Anti-Semitism is an incorrect description to describe Arabic people against Zionism. Semitics are people who descended from a particular race that existed centuries ago, the present-day cultures that spawned from it include the Arabs.

So before you go spouting rhetoric about people who are supposedly Anti-Semitic, do take a moment to decide whether they truly ARE from a Semitic culture, as the Arabs are.

If these Jews on this website are not Anti-Semitic, then I assure you, no Arab is either. They're in the same boat - the term is Anti-ZIONIST, and BOTH of these groups come under it's title.

It's one thing to fight stupidity, people, but don't resort to it yourselves. We're supposed to be better than that.

I agree with you. My parents are committed anti-zionists and in a Jewish group called just peace. The acrtually get called self-hating jew by the community here.

I get sick of of the two movements being conflated. However there IS an anti-jewih movement (innacuratlely refferred to as anti-semitism) which may not reflect a hate against all semitic people but still needs to be fought against as a reactionary movement.

I was talking with an American Jew on the net once, and after being called anti-semitic I sent an article about this group to her.

Her repsonse was something like the following:
"They're just a pack of self-hating Jew weirdoes who think that the destruction of Israel will bring about the return of the Messiah."

If you're a non-Jew opposed to Israel, you're anti-semitic.
If you're a Jew opposed to Israel, you're a self-hating Jew.

It's a no-win situation.

this friend of your probably knows little about the history of jewish people. before world war two most of the jews were communists or socialists(the zionist were a bunch of wealthy jews at that time). by her logic all the jews were once self hating.
