Yeah there are more people who thinks that.
But i'm happy with the Che Guevara shirts and other things with his face, because this is the reason that he lives, not only his name, but his face too. And I think it's great that the capitalists are obliged to use the face of a anti-capitalist revolutionary to make money. It's the same as a leftist organization who used the face of H*tl*r to get new members...

I hope people can realize the hypocrisy behind wearing a Che tshirt that was made in a sweat shop somewhere overseas. Then again we all purchase tshirts from stores and the majority of them are made in sweat shops, I just think its double bad to wear a che tshirt. Once I saw a cool looking Che shirt in a shop and I looked at the label, and it said "Made in Haiti," that right there made me sick.
If I'm ever going to wear a tshirt, it'll be one that I made with black sharpies on a plain white tshirt.
He fought his whole life against materialism and now hes been made the very thing he objected to by corporations and naive youth.

i wear Che shirts...so what?
except that i happen to know who he is and own several books about him and written by him...and honestly it doesnt bother me as much that capitalists are making money off of Che..thats the flow of business you cant change that..even in cuba they sell Che shirts for money...you cant expect them to sell it for free..
capitalists make money off of food too..what are you gunna do? stop eating?...yea go head
i dont really see the arguement with buying che shirts..i need a shirt to wear and im gunna HAVE to buy it...with capital dollars...why not get one with Che's face on it and show my representation...if someone asks me who that is..ill enlighten that person...if someone says "cool shirt of bob marley" ill punch him in the face...
theres not THAT wrong about buying a che shirt... the prices arent very revolutionary though...ahah

Some people are idiots. Let me tell you an interesting story. I was in a shopping mall yesterday and in a surf shop I saw a person wearing a Ernesto "Che" Guevara shirt with Havana under it. I approached him and asked if he knew who Che was or if he knew where Havana was. He answered "No, I just wear this shirt because it is hip, and I'm cool and your a fag". First off I was enraged that he used a derogatory word "Fag" that was used in a negative way, considering that is what homosexuals are. I punched him hard in the stomach right in the centre of the mall and then ripped his shirt off, I mean ripped the seams off. He was left with massive marks. Then I set fire to it, and put it in a McDonalds rubbish bin, and left......... What an exciting day that was.

If that is true then you are my hero. Also, I think that you should kill your friend, sorry but he deserves to die.
Oldergod: Their is a big problem with it. The shirts are made by little kids in Homduras that struggle to make enough money for food. The shirts in Cuba are made in Cuba and they have a right to sell Che shirts he lived in Cuba for a long time and helped them win the revolution.
I have a few Che shirts, but I didn't buy any of them, they were all my brother's then he decided that Che wasn't leftist enough so he gave them to me.

the problem isnt buying the shirt...the problem is the manufaturing of the shirt...if thats the problem..then destroy the factories and sweatshops that produce them...but your not going to stop the labor by not buying the shirt...you have to stop the problem at the source...not the walls around it...thats the basis of any radical revolution

I looked at my Che shirt today, and it said 'made in El Salvador' by Fruit of the Loom. So I checked to see if Fruit of the Loom had made grievous sweatshop crimes, and it turned out they did. In their Moroccan plant, the workers were organizing a workers union meeting, and the company hired people off the street to create a militia to scare people from attending. The El Salvador plant also has horrible conditions. No doubt many large corporations commit crimes like this everyday to our brothers in Latin America and Asia, but this story made me particularly sick. I am now debating whether to wear my shirt even though the money already got to the corporation. I guess I am spreading his word, but at the expense of people being exploited.

I had the unfortunate experience of going into the shop "TOPMAN" in London today. To my surprise they were selling che t-shirts made by some label for over £30. Its this kinda thing that really annoys me, makes you wonder whether people are buying che tees because of the label not because they like what che stood for.
Having said that, i did see a few people with che shirts on today, if they do really believe in what they are wearing, then that can only be a good thing.
stop them in the street, people could remember his name look it up, and become a leftist,...

That really didn't have anything to do with Che Guevara T-Shirts, I really don't believe that fight was real. The fact you called him a "pathetic fascist" is really "pathetic" I'm sure you could have said something stronger. Why didn't you ignore him, he is just another one of the worlds pieces of shit.
