hahaha

well it could mean that yes.

Still it could also mean something completely different.

It all depends on what they are discussing as we speak, and what the decision will be. Who knows, they might even choose to lay down their arms and continue as a peaceful reformist protest group. Though thats highly unlikely ofcourse :P

The EZLN is not planning a revolution.

They never have.

They have always used armed protests as a way to gain leverage against the Mexican state. They are not revolutionaries. They are reformists.

The CNI and FZLN are bourgeois-sectarian and also reformist imo. They are staffed by bourgeois intellectuals, cultural nationalists, and PRD people.

There are also geographic factors which make a revolution comming out of Chiappas very difficult.

A Mexican revolution will probably have its origins in Gro. and Oax. or the mountain areas south and to the west of DF. They have a long history of revolt there. It was there that the PDLP had their uprising. Also, there are many entrenched armed groups like the PDRP-EPR (has its origins in PROCUP). They don't seem to be making alot of progress though, but it is hard to tell as an outsider looking in.

EZLN is revolutionary, however it is not agressively revolutionary, and perhaps a bit too passive. You cant say theyre reformist because in the zapatista areas a virtual communist society exists: land to the peasants and people's democracy
