Just as I'm bored (an interested), let's see any posters you've made (leftie ones, obviously). If we get enough posted then we'll have a competition. Mine's enclosed.

Nice but the Font of the text is alittle hard to read.

Yeah. Photoshop died on me so I can't edit shit. I actually made those a good two or three years ago.

The second one was actually made on request by a (former) board member here, JXweidt.

I make posters, stickers and bumper stickers like Kit bag's ---not as elaborate as Drakes. nice Drake. yes, the 2nd one is amazing! is that the New York skyline? I can't recognize it anymore without the towers.

The third one is fantastic.Although i think it may be hard to read for the less-inteligent individuals.

Heh, although unintelligent people should not be on this site..."Since when do we eat trees?" Private joke...

hey Thanks Rise up! :)
yeah, I was thinking it looks a little low and flat and sprawling to be NYC. And the East River has more bodies in it than that! I'm so disoriented though.
so that must be Lake Michigan?
Debs was from Chicago then?
Nice anyway, Drake!!
I'm gonna check out photoshop. thanks for the tip.

I just did mine on paint, but as you can see, it's a tad more simple than the others...

your's is very cool, too Kitbag. Stark black and white is very striking and probably more noticeable. I don't use any special program either and don't print them poster size, but 8"x 11" flier size. I need to make more soon, too.

Cool, thanks. It's secretly anti-racist too, that's why I put the word capitalism in a lighter colour. Heh.

hey Kit.. I was checking out your band website. is that a vintage Gibson that you play? It looks like it might be an old Les Paul by looking at that bridge. I can't see the Headstock though, so I can't tell.

Aha, I love getting questions about my guitar. It's actually a Semi-Accoustic Ibanez AF-75BS model, and sounds gorgeous on accountic of it being a semi. Did you listen to the (bad quality) song on that site? I picked up an organ and we just recorded that song, out of boredom I think, but it turned out to sound quite beautiful (to us, at least) and we were qutie proud of it. I'd like to know what you think.

Sometimes.
Yeah, it's from Chicago. Debs did a lot of stuff in Chicago, and that is indeed Lake Michigan. (I know it looks great, but if you actually look in that lake today, it's disgusting.)
I used photoshop, mostly.

Hey Kit! No I hadn't heard it. But, I heard it now!!!! Excellent tune & nice little riff you got there.
Are you going to be uploading any other tracks? I want to hear more!!!! Let me know when you do. And that guitar is a beauty. I checked it out at the Ibanez site. looks very vintage and yes, it's got a beautiful sound... and that's coming from a loyal Gibson girl (SG & Les Paul.) Keep it up, comrade! Good stuff.

The Great Lakes are polluted too? :( all the States waters are filthy. The old beautiful Hudson River where I live is contaminated with PCBs thanks to GE. We should all make some clean water posters.

Thanks much, there will be more tracks up soon, but we just got a new drummer and are perfecting a setlist for an upcoming gig, so I'm not sure when we'll be able to record. It'll all only be using an mp3 player though, I'm not getting a 4-track till November, so we're just doing this so people can just sort of get the gist of it. Yeah, it's a great guitar, that song doesn't do it justice.

Lake Michigan is horrible. There are very few fish in the water because most of them are dead. If you did manage to catch a fish, I'm sure it would get you sick if you tried to eat it.
My spanish sucks, by the way. What's that say?

Triumph or die pretty much... I took it from Che's letter to Fidel where he says "...despues supimos que era cierto, que en una revolucion se triunfa o se muere, si es verdadera" (we later knew that it was certain, that in a revolution you triumph or die, if it is real)

A mockery of this forum? No I wouldn't want to do that. Graphics tends to be so serious of a forum I wouldn't possibly want to post anything that was less than serious. By the way, don't you think this person looks like the girl from Hanson?

Lake Erie is awful, from all the steel plants we had here, Ontario isn't as bad, but its still not that nice, the fish in Erie will deffinitly make you sick, and the water will too, when its hot out, you can actually taste cholrine in the tap water because they have to put more in(something with heat and the chems in the lake)

Yeah, Lake Erie is fucking horrible.. funny, a few centuries ago they thought a lake that could catch on fire would be hell.. little did they know that was in the ohio/NY/canada area. :P
And, just in case you didn't know.. a lot of that pollution is from Ohio, probably a lot more than its fair share. It's one of the top polluted states in the US. Much of the heat is from the nuclear plants littering the coast, btw.
here's something I just made for fun..
