Saw them last night in Madison. Normally I don't like reggae too much, but I have to say, the band KILLED!
What do you say about Toots?
Also, does anyone know if he still lives in Kingston?

I love Reggae it's the original rebel music. The Maytals rule period.

I don't think Toots still lives in Jamaica. I'm pretty sure he either moved to New York or London.

"Sweet and Dandy" is one of the best songs of all time.

Pressure Drop and Funky Kingston are probably my favourite Maytals songs, anyone seen The Harder They Come, pretty shit movie, but its got an awesome sound track (the lead in the movie is played by Jimmy Cliff after all), that's the first place i heard T & the M's.

I will fist fight you for that comment.

That is one of my favorite movies of all time.

It also has "Sweet and Dandy" in the movie, which goes along perfectly.

I dunno, i found it hard to 'connect' with the brutal character Cliff played, randomly killing people and harrassing women :P
