I've never seen any Che pictures in color

I've seen pictures of Fidel of the same period in color but not Che.

Pretty dumb of them, eh?

I have seen a few pictures of Ernesto Guevara in colour picture and I have seen a couple of video clips of him as well (in a Discovery documentary).

Resisting Arrest: Are you sure you haven't seen one? There is a small color picture of Che on the front and back cover of The Bolivian Diaries of the copy you have or had.

There's also a published color photo of Che at a UN assembly.

They are rare, because he missed color photos by about 2 years. Color film didn't become wide spread, even among photographers until about 1970.

Indigo is right since color film was not so big around ches time there were not so many pictuers taken of him. and the pictuers of fidel you see in color are becuse thay were probly taken a couple of years after che died.

i would say all those pic's are black and whites that had color added to them. the only color pics ive have seen of him are the ones of his dead body in bolivia.

However, on subject, Che just wasn't living at a time of color photo superiority.

As Xanthor said, it also is more "artsy" nowadays to have black and white photos. As for the cigar, he had good taste (as I'd assume those are cuban cigars ^_^).
