I prefer old hardcore like Minor Threat, Bad Brains, Gorilla Biscuits, Gang Green, Agnostic Front and Black Flag. Riistetyt are great. You could certainly say Behind Enemy Lines are hardcore but I think they are much more in vein of the anarcho-punk scene, I mean their lead singer was in Aus Rotten for Christ's sake.
I don't listen to what is considered hardcore nowadays. Like FP just said hardcore seems to mean something entirely different these days something that tends to lean more towards metal sub-genres as opposed to a punk sub-genre. In fact many people now refer to those hardcore mainstays as punk rather than hardcore.
