I would consider those metalcore.

I enjoy hardcore... to an extent. I am not a metalcore fan, only because it is so played out. Although, Lamb of God is not bad.

One hardcore band that is amongst my top ten is Dillinger Escape Plan. Although they may be more hardcore punk... its still hardcore. I saw them live at Vino's in April. Best night of my life :D .

Behind Enemy Lines

even though I'm not sure if it is "real" hardcore or more metal core. I don' t think in these categories.

anyway, they are great

I prefer old hardcore like Minor Threat, Bad Brains, Gorilla Biscuits, Gang Green, Agnostic Front and Black Flag. Riistetyt are great. You could certainly say Behind Enemy Lines are hardcore but I think they are much more in vein of the anarcho-punk scene, I mean their lead singer was in Aus Rotten for Christ's sake.

I don't listen to what is considered hardcore nowadays. Like FP just said hardcore seems to mean something entirely different these days something that tends to lean more towards metal sub-genres as opposed to a punk sub-genre. In fact many people now refer to those hardcore mainstays as punk rather than hardcore.
