OK, any fans of Elliot Smith please post, as he is my Number 1 top Artist of all time. If you haven't heard anything by this guy, then I seriously suggest you get hold of something. The album Either/Or is magnificent, and will capture your very soul with fantastic and beautiful voice/guitar melodies, with rustic drums and bass. All done on a four-track, yet this album is probably a better mix than most stuff done on computers (not technically, but musically). Words cannot express how geniously simple and creatively gifted he was, and his messages were fantastic, political or loving, and every song will capture you, I garauntee it. Thanks.

He’s one of my favourite artists. I thought that he might be just another overrated singer/songwriter, but then I decided to check out Either/Or a couple of years ago, and it blew me away. I’ll also highly recommend XO, self-titled, Figure 8, Roman Candle and From a Basement on the Hill. That’s all of them.

I know Quasi somewhat well, and the same people who turned me onto them had a thing for Smith. I'll definitely check him out.
