We all know that Sudan's Government is accused of Genocide, by hiring Guerillas to kill and burn villages, farms, and people.
If the USSR was still around, would they believe these accusations and help the people of Sudan, or stay out of what isn't their buisness?

In the Cold War, neither side cared who was on their side as long as they hated the enemy as much as the USSR or USA did.
I definetly think the USSR would have stayed out of such a horrible conflict. If it was discovered that the military aid given to the Sudan by the USSR was killing people, it would only tarnish them.

Nobody in the industrialized world cares about Africa or the Africans. Case in point: Rwanda. They beleive in letting the africans kill off each other only when westarn interests are at stake, or a complacent regime rebels then and only then do they look towards africa.
If the USSR were still around they wouldn't intervene nor would the United states. Unless the embassy were burnt down.....
Even then it would be al-qaedas doing! :D
