View Full Version : Replacing Time Capsules

After reading Rise up's "DIY shit" (http://www.revolutionaryleft.com/index.php?showtopic=36733) thread, I had an idea, I realised that my school and other organisations in my area had placed time capsules around the turn of this century.
So I've decided to covertly unearth them and replace the contents with something more appropriate.

Any suggestions for the contents of the capsule? Anything and everything will be considered though obviously stupid suggestions will be ignored.

I want everybody's comments on this.

TIA, RebelOutcast.

Well what im wondering is why you are digging up the capsules in the first place. The items in there are to comemorate your city or town that you live in. Im shore all thay have in them are some books and maybe a local newspaper there is really nothing to uncover and remove.

just make some new ones and put in political stuff. It's wrong to wreck other peoples stuff.

I've decided that we will not remove the original contents or nesseccarily even open the capsule, perhaps just piggy-back another capsule in the same place.
The problem with starting new ones in different places is that they may not be found at all whereas, if we piggy-back upon an existing one it will be found.
