I don't know how many of you are into photography, but photographs of abandoned buildings seem to be really interesting and artistic to me.

These are mostly abandoned russian structures, tell me if you share my sentiments, and post your favourites.

I agree with you. 'Abandonment', to me, represents so much - rejection, the fragility of 'matter' in 'time', time itself as a concept, and so on...

I liked the 'Unfinished administration Complex' best of all. (This one... (http://www.abandoned.ru/pic.php?id=51)) It speaks volumes about high-sounding ideas and the tragedy of "reality"! The same can be said of the Unfinished industrial Complex. (http://www.abandoned.ru/pic.php?id=67)

Wow, I cannot believe there are half built hospitals and sky scrapers just laying around in Russia. That is just something you'd never see in the states.

I like the one of the hospital, that was cool.

That's what I was thinking. There is an abandoned Pumping station near where I live that I took some photos of, but I've posted them before. Nothing as grand as the ones on that site.

I got in trouble with he police for being in there actually. Someone must have seen me and my friends break in, though the officer let us off because he appreciated that we weren't trouble makers - just trying to get some good photos.
