First, some background on Milwaukee:
Milwaukee has a population of about 600,000, and is a dying city. Homeless people live on the streets and crowd shelters, already bursting at the seams from having well over the capacity. The murder rate is over that of Chicago, supposedly America's most violent city. It stands currently at 65, with half the year to go. The rich live in the suburbs, while the poor must fend for themselves while taking beatings from cops or gangs looking for new members. You talk about Gotham City, this is the real-life Gotham, except without all of the skyscrapers.
Anyway, the story as it goes, and let me tell you, this is a TRUE story, not a joke:
A group of Milwaukee cops go out pheasant hunting at a pheasant farm. The owner of the farm is along with them. So, a black pheasant jumps up, the cops shoot it, and they high-five. A little while later, another black pheasant jumps up, and the get it. Next, a THIRD black pheasant jumps up, and they get it. Now, black pheasants are really quite rare amongst pheasants, but you can custom order them. So he asks them, "Why did you order all-black pheasants", and they say "Don't you know, it's Martin Luther King Day!".
When I heard this story, it made me want to go kill some cops in Milwaukee.
