New York Times Minimizes Palestinian Deaths (http://www.zmag.org/content/showarticle.cfm?SectionID=107&ItemID=7730)

We found that in 2004, at a time when 8 Israeli children and 176 Palestinian children were killed – a ratio of 1 to 22 – Times headlines and lead paragraphs reported on Israeli children’s deaths at a rate almost seven times greater than Palestinian children’s deaths.

Children killed:

http://www.ifamericansknew.org/images/children.gif

118 Israeli children (http://www.ifamericansknew.org/stats/children.html#source) have been killed by Palestinians and 680 Palestinian (http://www.ifamericansknew.org/stats/children.html#source) children have been killed by Israelis since September 29, 2000.
For every 1 Israeli child that has died, 5.76 Palestinian children died.

Total People killed:

In 2004, ABC, CBS, and NBC news reporting on Palestinian children’s deaths followed virtually the same line as Israeli children’s deaths, in stark contradiction to the reality, in which Palestinian children were being killed at a rate 22 times greater than Israeli children.

It is not the freeing of Palestine that I am against.

The Isrealis have made an attempt to marginalize Palestinians to terrorists. But the Palestinians make it too easy for Isreali's to do so.

I think that the suicide bombers should stop targeting civilians and start targeting military equipment and supplies.

And some how I hope the American public realizes what our Government is doing. They clearly haven't discovered the reason for 9/11.

Peace.

I think that the suicide bombers should stop targeting civilians and start targeting military equipment and supplies.

I think the suicide bombers should stop completely.

The men and women who commit such acts would be much more helpful to the movement if they were alive. Unfortunately, they are desperate people, and many get convinced that this is the only way.

But yes, any violence should be directed solely at the military and other repressive state agencies.

There is nothing surprising here. However, what I do find interesting is that even the books, writers, journalist, articles, commentators etc who report of media bias are themselves ignored within the media. So its suppression of suppression. Its really interesting if you think about it. An Israeli pilot fires a missile and blows up a Palestinian apartment building, and its called a pre-emptive strike against where intelligence believed one “terrorist” was hiding. So, they will kill 50 in order to get one. On the flip side, a Palestinian walks into a cafe and blows up 50, and its called a terrorist attack. I fail to witness the difference. However, the media seems to be able to make a difference – that being simply echoing official white house press garbage.
