"Can the power of a hundred be greater than the power of a thousand? It can. And it does, when the hundred is organized." - Lenin
This is a really good quote about how an organized proletarian movement can overcome the capitalist forces.

"One man with a gun can control 100 without one." - Lenin
Simply the most pragmatic words I have ever heard.

"Socialism needs democracy like the human body needs oxygen." - Trotsky
Illuminates the fact that socialism cannot survive without democracy.

"The end may justify the means as long as there is something that justifies the end." - Trotsky
Simply poetic, doesn't speak much beyond common sense though.

"The revolutionary war is a war of the masses; it can be waged only by mobilizing the masses and relying on them." - Mao Tse-Tung
Another good quote about organization.

"We must strive every day so that this love of living humanity will be transformed into actual deeds, into acts that serve as examples, as a moving force." - Ernesto Guevara
The need for deeds not talk.

Punk rockers can be revolutionary. Metallers too.

Some times it takes the arts to punctuate revolutionary points, as it adds the aesthetic of the artform.

Art can be helpful to the revolution.

There is more content in the quotes of professional revolutionaries then musicians.

Although what they say is good and maybe true, it isn't as credible as someone who has done alot of work and research.
