Jews call it Israel, Arabs call it Palestine; whenever either group controls the land, they call it by the name they prefer. Either way, the people living there are the same, they all suffer. The problem is long and tangled history of lies, hate, and pain. The best way to solve this problem is not to continue in the same direction, but to untangle the problem and return to the beggining of it all. Then start over, doing all the right things. Return not to the times of Palestine, these are times in which the Arabs control everything; return not to the time of Israel, in which the Jews control everything; return to the times of Canaan, in which all the people are equal.

How's that for poetic?

I'm not a Jew, Christian, or Muslim. But I am a human being, and I feel great pain when I see my felllow humans living in conditions they don't have to. So I say to them, return to your basics, return to your Canaan:
