Communism

hello all...
i think Che is a great man and all and i respect him for everything he has done... but i do not think communism is such a great idea, for the obvious reasons such as no motivation for going for necissary high paid jobs and i belive that che is trying 2 tell us this when he says:
"I am not interested in dry economic socialism. We are fighting against misery, but we are also fighting against alienation. One of the fundamental objectives of Marxism is to remove interest, the factor of individual interest, and gain, from people's psychological motivations. Marx was preoccupied both with economic factors and with their repercussions on the spirit. If communism isn't interested in this too, it may be a method of distributing goods, but it will never be a revolutionary way of life."
I would like to hear what other ppls view on this is.

Well, sure he had his problems with the communist system just like any other person, but this does not mean that he isn't a loyal communist and thinks that it is the best system. Oh and just curious, why don't you like communism, after all this is a leftist site, do you believe in socialism, anarchy or something totally differant?

Che is saying that material incentives should be replaced by moral incentives during socialism. Under capitalism, people are motivated to work because they want to get an income. Che is making the argument that under socialism, people should be motivated based on "higher" ideals.
