an analysis from you on how this actually relates to class war, given the limited information in that article, would be most interesting.

It's rather strenuous to try and link the murder of two CO's by an NCO as 'Class War'.

Sure, it could relate to the system of rank within the armed forces, but fragging is usually carried out because of dislike of Officers or other comrades (or so I have been lead to believe), not out of the hatred of the class system.

Doesn't seem to make much sense, to be honest. Have you posted the right article?

Are there any other articles that can shed a little more light on this?

If it does involve preventing the unnecessary harm of Muslims, then perhaps we can get a bit of a discussion out of it?

In Vietnam, where fragging was most common, it was used against officers who insisted on forcing soldiers into combat.

While we can't know the exact motives for sure right now, fragging often is related to the system of rank....the tremendous division between enlisted and officers.

Fragging and rebellion within the ranks is what brought down the Vietnam War, not petty bourgeois protests. The Army is a reflection of class relations within a society. If the working class NCOs and enlisted personnel begin to defy their leaders, like in Russia during the revolution, it shows that there is not a growing amount of class consciousness. A primitive form, but none the less class consciousness and this means that more soldiers are disillusioned with the war and are beginning to become disillusioned with the system of slaughter and dictatorship, AKA the chain of command or class society.

However, individual attack will solve nothing, it does show that there is a growing consciousness among the soldiers.
