^ This web site here, has took Dr. Ernesto Che Guevara and exploited him to make money. The silly part is people I know that claim to be Communists have bought shirts from there. Communism is becoming a popular idealogy with IDIOTS who obviously don't know the meaning of the word. Buying a mass produced shirt with an important revolutionary on it is contradictory to the idea of communsim and it disgusts me. Anyone else?

Holy god, I thought that the Che one was bad, but a comrade of mine who is actually a communist sent me a link to this disgusting web site. This is awful.

Well truthfully even with the people who buy cloths from there. Either just buy those things to fit in with the crowed thay want to be in at the moment or thay bye them because thay think its the new fashion. Either way i could care less on weather or not thay bye those clothes thay are just byeing in to what the corporations want.

The Che Store is part of the Che-Lives website, to which RevolutionaryLeft belongs. Money received through purchases is used to run this site, as are donations, which you can do through the links at the bottom of the page. It is however, quite ironic to be selling a product that depicts a Communist revolutionary, particularly one who was very much opposed to being viewed as some sort of "celebrity." I also don't believe everyone wearing a Che shirt is doing it because it's the "latest fashion," or to be part of the "in group." But, I'm sure many people are that way and don't know Che's story. I myself have Che shirts, as well as Zapata shirts, and a couple of others. But I buy mine from local flea markets where I can get 3 for $10. Sure beats 1 shirt for $18.95 or some other outrageous price. Why are the shirts in the Che store so expensive? If I had enough money I would consider buying one of the Malcolm X shirts they got now, so as to get a nice shirt and help keep the site up and running at the same time. But at just under $20 for one t-shirt? I don't know. :unsure:
