PATRIOT II is old. It was disassembled after a draft was leaked back in 2003. Some of the provisions in the act were passed though, but that was because they added them to other "less controversial" legislation. Sneaky bastards. But yeah, PATRIOT II&#39;s provisions are bad. There was something in it that allowed corporations that use hazardous chemicals to hold back information about the health and environmental effects of those chemicals in the areas where they operate. <_< A lot of other garbage was in it regarding citizens who support "terrorist organizations" as well. Like if you supported even the legal activities of a group that the u&#036; deems to be "terrorist" you could be detained indefinitely and even stripped of your citizenship. A bunch of crazy shit. But this is rather old news.

Well thank God for that. I am very relieved. Lets just hope they wont try anything else against the people.
