The rich norh(North America, Europe, NOrth ASia and Australia, more o less)
The poor south(South AMerica, Africa, SOuth ASia, SOuth pacific countries, more o less.)

SOme statisics
Population:
North: 1/5 of worlds population
SOuth: 3/4

Income:
North: 3/4 of total
South: 1/4

The rich north are the developed countries, who in contradiction with their name, are developing and increasing their income in %

The poor south are the developing countries, who un contradiction to their name, are de-deveping, poverty is increasing, inflation is increasing, insequrity is increasing, and dependancy on the rich north also.

In a ccapitalist world where we unfortunately live there are oppresive and oppresed people. Why cant all be equal??, a question for countries of the rich north.

what you say is mostly true.

but Australia is in the south. it is also unique in that it is a "developed" country and it exports primary products, such as beef, lamb, wool, and coal. so its in abit of a grey area.

but you're right about population. it certainly doesnt have much. the sixth biggest country, and only 20M pop.
