mahircayan, what party/ideology are you involved with?

NewKindOfSoldier, there is currently a Maoist People's War going on in Turkey that is really inspiring. They also have a really good party that is a part of the RIM.

yeah the problem in turkey is that serveral terror organizations called theirselves communists, thats why the turkish youth and the population dont deal with socialist ideologies, they cant get in touch with communist organizations because they cant know if the leaders of the organization are supporting terror organizations like the PKK

The party with membership in the Revolutionary Internationalist Movement is the Communist Party of Turkey Marxist-Leninist (which actually has many Maoist elements as their party points out)

Even though this thread has been dead for a while now I couldn't pass a chance at posting a reply.

The right wing is pretty much controling Turkey right now and getting more powerful every minute, a very fearful thing. The good thing, slowly but surely extreme left organizations are gathering force and growing. Each week at least there seems to be at least two campaigns around the main street of downtown, giving out flyers and speeches, protesting.

The extremes have more or less died, even the TKP (Turkish Communist party) is working silently right now and isn't even considered a party. This is mostly caused by the PKK, which most of the foreigners believe is a left, communist organization trying to get back it's territory back. No it's not. That's what I would like to believe but no. They're not left, they're not communist. They're terrorists. And I'm not only saying this as someone who has lost close family friends to them but as a proud turk, admitting the mistakes we have made to the kurds.
