"I believe we are witnessing the death of "intellectual property" as a viable concept."

HOORAY! "intellectual property" was something formulated by tremendous corperations to make excessive amounts of money and use capitalism to their advantage. It never WAS a viable concept and i hope it dies and burns in hell!

Tell them to stop fucking ripping us off and sign with a publisher/label that charges a fair price and not one which makes their wallets fatter and fatter.

Most of the time it's not the record company that makes the cd's expensive. It's the stores. Big music stores buy the cd's for 5 bucks and sell 'em for 20. There are some individual music stores who sell cd for like 10 bucks and make less profit on it.

accually its teh other way around. big stores sell em for less, like best buy sell most of their CDs for like 10 bucks. while my dads friends local CD shop sells em for 18. its cuz they have to pay for shipping and they pay 10 bucks to buy them off of the big stores, since they dont get them directly from the company.
