I'm currently reading the The Apocalypse Watch by Robert Ludlum - it's pretty good, about neo-nazis. I enjoyed the Bourne Identity (movie), so I'm maybe gonna read some of his books.

I've got too much Tom Clancy though.... Sum of All fears, Executive Orders, Debt of Honor. I know he's a total Republican it's just I need action type books in his style. Does anyone know any good action writers?

Clive Cussler ;) .

He's a very "popcorn" book writer. Still surprised they haven't made his books into movies.

"Sahara" by Clive Cussler was made into a movie - it's shit by the way, I'll never get those 2 hours of my life back

Clive Cussler is one of my guilty pleasures. I've read pretty much all the Dirk Pitt series, but not any of his lastest ventures. I know it's sort of mind candy, but it's usually a fun read nontheless.

For whatever reason, his books don't seem to translate well to movies though.

Raise the Titanic was ponderous.

Sahara was just goofy.

I like the NUMA Files. Like Kurt Austin.

I had no idea that Sahara was based off the book. I even told people, "hey, Clive Cussler should sue" now I feel like a dick.
