I know a lot of people who regard them as one of the greatest bands.
I entirely disagree.
They did have a handful of good songs, though.

Folks usually over rtaed them by claiming that Bohemian Rhapsody is the best songs ever.

They're also often over rated because of the great technical abilities of Brian May and Freddie Mercury.

1. Gene Simmons is a dick, Freddie Mercury wasn't.

Well, they are overrated, but usually because people pay a lot of attention to songs like "Another One..." and other 80s crap, instead of things like "Brighton Rock" which are usually ignored by the masses. And their lyrics are crap.
