This is a really stupid question, but how do you pronounce Che Guevara? I just don't want to mis-pronounce his name......

It's TCH-E with a silent "T".
No TCH-EY or SH-AY, please!!!!
As for Guevara, it is pronounced GHE(like toGHEther)-VA(accent)-RA

You're welcome

Also you may listen to famous song "Hasta Siempre Comandante".
There is a very precise example of pronounciation of Che's name.

^Pronunciation^.

I've always understood it as shay not chay and goohvahrar rather than goovera, phonetically that is.

You both (Floyd and Wiesty) are wrong.
Let me quote The University of Chicago Spanish Dictionary:

ch is no longer considered to be a separate letter in the Spanish alphabet. However, it represents a single sound, which is similar to the English ch in church and cheek. Examples: chato, chaleco, mucho.

e is similar to the vowel of late ([lejt]), but without the diphthong. Examples: mesa, hablé, tres.

Note that the letter u is not pronounced in the syllables qui, que, gui, and gue (unless spelled with dieresis, as in bilingüe).

You may check it here (http://www.press.uchicago.edu/Misc/Chicago/spanishdictionary/pronunciation.html)

Besides, you all know the word Que (What).
Do you pronounce it as Coo or Keh?
The same is with GUE(vara). Not Goo but Gh-e.

I don't like the way you hyphenate it I don't get how you would say it really from the way you describe it to be honest but pretty much undersatnd everyone else Colombia's post made a lot of sense to me.

I say que as kyoo.
