I'm going on a "journey" so to speak, and I am interested in bringing along some literature. Now, I have already read the basics, and even a bit beyond that.
What I want to read that may be different than most on this board, is just books related to our cause in general. Political strategy, communism, anarchism, socialism, revolution, non-violence, etc.
If there is a book that might expand my mind, please let me know of it here.

Well, if I was to suggest how to expand your mind through literature, I would suggest reading something that doesn't support your viewpoints. Something different, opposing. With a variety of readings you can compare the solid aspects of their various viewpoints and hopefully grow from it. For example, if a capitalist never read anything about communism, and always brushed it off as some society-destroying evil, he would forever think that, and have a sheltered and 'uneducated' viewpoint. Yet if he read a good communist book, he might come around.
Also understanding the opposition to a theory can help you better understand the theory in general.

Probably the most informed educated post I've ever seen in my time here.
To add to that point however I would like to say that it should be an intellectual, if not academic piece of literature by right-wing/left-wing intellectuals as oppose to the typical rubbish published by unintelligent zealots and ideologues.

Well, I was more wanting to have literature so I can more understand Communism, but like JD said, you have an extremely good point. One such that I might pick up my copy of Mein Kampf that I got years ago.

Look up Murray Bookchin, he was an excellent anarchist author. His stuff wasn't purely anarchist though, he was just a leftist in general, sometimes he considered himself an anarchist, sometimes a communist and sometimes a socialist.
