Hello,
Greetings from an undisclosed small town in Florida.

I've always be interested in Leftism,Communism/Socialism, and Anarchism. But,it wasn't until 7 months ago I looked more into it.I understand and agree with the ideologies, being that they are about having a human concience,I think it would be too difficult to just throw them away. The more I read and learn the more I find I agree.I understand that the USSR after Lenin or any "Socialist" country isn't
a good anology of Communism/Socialism.

I've been reading Capital alot. Its a hard read for someone like me who doesn't know too much about economics.I'm also compiling a huge reading list.

You'll most likely see me in the Learning catagory of the boards asking lots of questions.

I tremble indignantly at every injustice,so most likely I am a comrade of yours.:che:

Greetings, what would you classify youself as? (Marxist, Marxist-Leninist, Trotskyist, Stalinist, Maoist, anarchist, etc.)

How does it feel being exposed to the Southern slew of racism and sexism?

Racism is everywhere in the world, but,in Fla you'll find the KKK nazi-skinhead groups in your rural areas. Theres alot of NY Jews and Mexicans where I live ,so I'm not quite to worried about that.Besides, those Mestizos can fight! I don't mean to generalize by saying that, but, when you see how hard they work and if you ever witnessed them kicking the crap out of a neo-nazi you'll know what I'm talking about!

I can't really label myself.I like alot of what Marx taught. Though it seems what the anarchists preach seems to be at the core of real Communism.

I know this because I know that the material conditions that spark the revolution exist within the poor working-class and minorities.

Mostly correct, Only except one thing. They're not doing it because of WORKERS, but because of invidual FREEDOM over groups. Sometimes it's way TOO much freedom. Unlike us Communists, even if I "border" alot to Anarchism - "Council Communist"/Luxembourgist (previously Titoist, 'tho) they don't even care for the DE-Centralized Power (direct-democratic worker-councils and militias!) and want a totally power-free sociey! There sure's goin' ta be battle over that, they're too far off for me with that, it's an easy and sure way to let Capitalist flyyy back into power, with no-one preventing them, even by definition ABILITY....but I 'spose people will have to organize themselves if they wanna drive it away. Outrageous...but I'll tolerate that fer now. Someday, however, it's us or them, and I'd wager it's US....Anarchism is the total-most leftist thing there is, in my eyes, and even more "extreme" than Communism (!) and that says alot. We're not just sophisticated despots, y'see?

Welcome comrade, I am also very green on these boards.

I understand that you have seen quite some examples of racist-violence where you live, for me this has been a major factor for becoming a leftist. I've heard that mexicans, in America, are treated as 3rd rank citizens, almost untermenschen, is it really that bad? And another question; is the mexican community very issolated form the white american community?

My factors in comming to the left were seeing racist violence, coming from a low-income single parent family, never wishing and consquently never have profited ANYONE. I can't help but feel that I am being questioned on why I'm interested in Communism.

Um,as for how the Mexicans are treated they generally work back-breaking labour jobs, and are underpaid for it.You hear other people complaining how they take their jobs, yet at the same time they are "too above" to work those kinds of jobs.
As in alienation,I can't really tell you on the subject because I'm not Mestizo but,I can see that there is somehow a form segration from the middle class. Middle class meaning In my book, those with higher income living in gated communities not necessarily from profit.

I know. We even have Mexican migrant workers here in Ontario, Canada. Getting pay 7.1 dollars per hour(min wage). Also they live in horrible condition(12 men in a room or something) But nevertheless it's advanturous cause u get to spray pesticides without wearing a mask or gloves

Damn those capitalists.

Of course, everybody has his own (personnal) reasons to fight capitali$m, I was also attracted to leftism because of my anti-racism. In Holland the Turkish and Maroccan people are in the same postion as the mexicans in the US. But here they are also hunted by the mass-media for the murder of Theo van Gogh, 9/11 and growing crime...

And what of those anarcho-communists?

They are just confused *****es, who're just too undecisive of anything to take a 'stance at somethin'(Either you're a commie, or you're an archie!), and do a darn judgement, n'much less drive fer all it's worth! 'Sides, sayin' "an archie" to an anarchist would've sounded hella fun, 'tho..almost too misfitting, like describing a leisured rich-guy dabblin' in 'favorless' radical politics.

Your are ignorant about anarcho-communism.
Anarcho-communist believe in the overthrow of the government and a direct transition to communism by worker's organizing their own business without leaders and establishign a gift economy.

Right now In America I think the most important thing for the left is unity,we need our voices heard. And we can't do that by trying to influence those damned Democrats, enough with that. They are like shitty boyfriends to girlfriends, they are never going to change. So they must be dumped.

I'm never going to label myself directly. The Commies are more organized and scientific yet the Anarchos have beautiful ideas.Every Anarcho I've ever known seemed to be an Anarcho-Communist,I known afew of those rediculous Anarcho-Capitalists/Nhilists which is a totally stupid idea seeing that money can only be a product of a Government. And without money or bartering theres no way anyone can make profit.

Near Tampa Bay. West Coast. I think i've already been too specific on this web-site on a very old post .I hope government agencies only see this place as a merchandising web-site with a blog.
