I think we all should remember this great person... the person, who lost his life in battle like a real man although he was able to be really rich and live in some big house... But he chose the way of dirt, pain but also the way of JUSTICE...

So, I am "just Guevara worshiper". And I hate american imperialism...(so Che did...)

A very good choiche of person to be a "fan" of, but Guevara is not a rock-star. Perhaps one very justiceful one, but.... Stop following icons, and make yourself one, is my tip. Wel Come Rade: Throw 'em to the dirt. Don't get me wrong, 'tho, Ernesto was a 'great man', and also, a 'great communist' per.se definition (albeit naively following pseudo-totalarian principles, knowingly or not) very unselfish of him, 'tho, but I'd wager action over word. Follow the ideology instead of but one man in service of the ideology, that would be even more respective of him. And perhaps even take to action, like the Scandinavic "Global Intifada" has done! Who knows, perhaps I'll even join them :o

Hello, welcome to RevLeft. . .
Guevara was an okay person, but he makes a better idol. . .an idol isn't any good unless they inspire you to do something.
If you really want to follow "Che", take ole's advice:
"Stop following icons, and make yourself one"
See you around, post much

Yeah Che was great man but look at his political beliefs and do what he did, don't just turn him into a sub-religious figure as I've seen done before.

I too love Che, but I don't 'worship' him. I follow his teachings. Welcome comrade.

"His" "teachings", was more like Marx's teachings. I don't recall Guevara teachin' in any goddamn thang, but he was definately an example to follow. I don't like how his figure has come to be used, however. It is very strange; How people hate Communism to the guts (foolishly believing Soviet is the ultimate example of it), and still love Che Guevara to bits and hang up pictures and posts of him everywhere even if they aren't leftist! What the fuck, I think, sometimes, are some people nuts? Either get a valid reason for likin' him or DON't, for there's no reason to like him if you don't like leftism, because that just doesn't battle out. Oh, and KRS: 'Nember Capitalized O next time! :D

Well, I also donīt "worship" him, I just like his bravery, and compliancy to die for "his" nation... (just like many armenians in war with Turkey)
2OleMarxo: yes, I know that he is not a rock-star...

Idols are also better if they're dead. I, for one, worship/idolise no-one.

ok but you dont have to just relate everything to che, ya che was awesome, but be your own person
If someone were to claim to be an idol. They would not be recognised. One has to earn the status, either through doing good and having charisma or doing good and dying for it.

There is no properity nor nationality in Communism, how DARE you say something as laughable as that!
No, I mean the nation which he loved, I mean ALL Latin-America, not only Cuba (or Argentina as you said).
Che was no nationalist.
yes, I know that he wasnīt... I know it very well!
Armens might have fought bravely with and against the Turks, but, it were all of the glory of the "Motherland", not the poor proletars who gets sent to kill, even if it were in defense.
Yes, it was in DEFENSE! And they were much more Turkeys that Armenians, but thought Armenians fought, not run away like cowards!
MIGHT have fought bravely
you can be sure that they REALLY have fought bravely...
P.S. btw, I dont understand, why you dont like me if you even dont know me :)

But if so, wasn't it PROVOKED?
no :)
Donīt say things, like we are the one doing offense etc. As you said you werenīt there... and that the one doing OFFENSE were Turkeys-IS FACT...
perhaps they were less better equipped,
we lost the war...
Oh? But if so,
hmmm, so you mean that we didnīt fought but ran away like cowards???
Oh? But if so, wasn't it PROVOKED? Then you were the aggritator...the one doin' OFFENSE, to lure them, TEMPT them to attack you, luring them to the slaughter...
I donīt understand what does this have to do with fighting bravery
And I donīt know where did you get this... or maybe you just donīt like Armenians?
