Apologetics:Formal argumentation in defense of something, such as a position or system. (American Heritage Dictionary)

I put this thread in Theory, but it might belong in OI, I wasnt sure.

Anyways; Through recent studies and discussions on this forum and other meetings, I have noticed, and Im sure im not the first one to notice this, that the general public (the people) have no real understanding of Socialist/Communist theory and science. This misunderstaning has created a dangerous atmosphere (especially in the West) for any revolutionaries, but also hinders the establishnet of any large movement.

Therefore we as Soclialists/Communists must begin to "re-educate" the people about what we believe in. In seminary it was called apologetics, meaning the defense and propogation of a certain idealogy.

I bring this up because it seems we make more enemies than allies, and by doing so remain a "fringe" group.

I agree. But how do we do this? How do we re-educate?

especially in the West

I wouldn't be so sure about that. W.Europe is more drawn to extreme left than East today. Thanks alot Stalin and others... fucking assholes

We need to create a simple mission statement or plan of intentions which allows the people to better understand the fundamentals of Socialism/Communism.

The problem with Marxism and other theorists is that it is sometimes hard to understand and creates more questions than answers.

We need to be more open to the people and not so quick to draw the class lines between burgoise and proletariat, because those lines can sometimes appear blurred, and even some Socialist/Communist dont truly understand the class structre. For example; white collar worker dosent nessecarily mean burgoise.
