U.S. political system

Im a big fan of immortal technique and he talks alot about corruption of the united states government and America's political system I used to believe that America was the greatest country in the world and everything we were doing was right and that democracy is the only way. Now I am second guessing many decisions that the U.S. has made, taking a deeper look into what we call "democracy", and I am beginning to realize some of what i think are evils in American society. I find myself less proud to be an American. I am trying to learn more about this whole thing. I was wondering if anyone could steer me in the right direction of my researching the American political system and government or give me answers or theories about what they know or think is going on in America. Thanx.

Unfortunately there is no single place with answers to all your questions, but I'd say that this board is a good place to start!

So stick around, ask questions; but most importantly look around for yourself. Do research, investigate, compile, analyze. The problems with the United States, and every other country for that matter, are so glarring as to be inpossible to hide. When it comes to discovering them, logic and observation are really all you need.

Those who bennefit from the present system have put up a lot of roadblocks so it takes some work, but all the information is out there, you just have to be willing to look.

Democracy is the only way
In a way this is true, I believe that in all systems of government, democracy is the only way, otherwise the people will become repressed, and eventually rebel, democracy should be incorporated somehow into any system of government. The U.S. is a very poor example of democracy, due to the fact that the people are so divided.
