The recent film "Kingdom of Heaven" tells a story of the crusades for the ancient holy city of Jeruselem, the battles between the feudal lords and kings of western europe waged crusades against the muslamic kings and warlords of the 11th and 12th centuries, the city passed back and forth throughout the ages.

Today Jeruselem is ruled by the Isrealites the origional rulers, backed by a strong Christian/American co-ilition, what do you think the future role of the Palistinians and the Muslim people will hold?

I hate to sound so pessemistic, but.... I see trend here that can't be solved overnight. Christians, Jews, and Muslims are all suppose to be brothers but because they hold their beliefs to be superior to one another they constantly run into problems with arrogence and intollerance. This just fans the fires of hatred...which of course turns into violent confrontations.

The problem is fundamentalist mentality. If you could get rid of that kind of thinking then...many of the worlds problems would go away.

I haven't seen the movie yet, but it looks like it sends a pro-christian message, as if to insight rage against the muslim community.
And to answer your question, I don't think muslims will ever regain control of Jerusalem, but they don't deserve it, what they do deserve (West Bank and Gaza Strip) I think they will ultimately gain contol over.
