plege of alligance

i thought they were gonna change the plege to the flag over the summer. they were supposed to take out the "under god" part. but so far, nothing

"...and to the republic, Forwichistan..." is the part that really confuses me...why are we pledging to some ex-soviet republic that I've never even heard of?

quite frankly, the judgement given that the aliegance was unconstitutional was by a low court. you can BET there will be appeals and until the appeal process is done nothing will change....trust me, i'm a law student
