A semi-known punkish band consisting of Amanda on piano, and Brian, which is one of the best drummers I know of.

The song "Coin-Operated Boy" is not the best, even tough its the most known, but their other songs on their album is just totally naise!

Opinions?

They're pretty well known really and I'd say it's just one trick pony cabaret schtick for daft semi indie kids who don't know better. I think they have some charm but wouldn't buy an album.

I love that song coin operated boy. It's original and cute. That's like the only song I've heard by them but I'm sure their others are good too.

Aww pobrecito UR

yeah the dresden dolls are grand - I wanted to see them while they were in London but missed them unfortunately.. They do a great live version of PJ Harvey's "rid of me".

I have a friend who likes them a lot, but I haven't gotten to hear a lot of their stuff. What I have heard, I thought was pretty interesting in a sort of obscure way, and I'm definitely going to consider buying some of their albums once I come across it.
