Ok, there is a guy who keeps following me around because he knows I'm a socialist and he is a right-wing, fascist, conservative arse. But he keeps going on about 'Oh Margaret Thatcher was so amazing' and 'no we shouldn't cancel third world debt or give money to Africa' and loads of other really fascist stuff. But the problem is, people are listening to him! He's gaining support! However much I try to convince people he's talking shite, they don't listen because I'm a 'Commie Bastard' (yep he told them that too). What should I do, is it time to use force?

Show them that. Tell them people will continue to suffer like this unless something is done.
If they still think Third World debt shouldn't be cancelled well then, they have absolutely nothing down for them, and there is something horribly wrong with the world.

Otherwise, let them believe what they like. Just make sure you win the arguaments.

Dear comrade , force was never a way to reveal needs , its better if you start showing ur friends the opposits of communism and how hard el commandante strugled in his life to give us peace and liberty.

I do argue. but because he's given me this reputation as a 'commie bastard' no-one listens (same old story really). And then he goes on about 'Oh we need a classed society, no-one is equal', what an arsehole! I'll try not to use force but it will be very difficult.

"If you tremble indignation at every injustice you are a comrade of mine." - Ernest 'Che' Guevara

That quote is my favourite as it sums up my feelings and it was said by one of my heros! FIGHT THE POWER!!!!!

comrade , we can say 2 things.
either ur friend is a high class M.F and he is afraid from loosing his F***ing reputation at school.
and the second is , try to get over his talks , show them that communism will not take whatever they had , no show them the meaning of sharing and how great it is , tell them the story of the cuban workers , tell them the greatness of communism.

First and foremost, Comrade Che1990, you should find others who believe in Socialism/Communism and start up a group, and then from there you will gain more awareness from the majority of the people. But you must know everything about everything, that includes know everything about Capitalism and the Right Wing ideologies. Anticipate every arguement they throw at you. Know the enemy. All in all, I would consider starting a group of people who have the same or similar concept as yours. Enlighten your friends, students in political science, sociology, and/or history classes. You cannot win over the majority all at once, like Che and the Cuban guerrillas started from the Peasants, you should start with smaller groups of people (even individually can work) -- especially the humble ones.

Margaret Thatcher on TV
Shocked by the deaths that took place in Beijing
It seems strange that she should be offended
The same orders are given by her

Well, there's just one thing to do.
Pull his pants down in front of people in public :D
The sucker punch always wins! Hey, I'll give you CLASS-DIVIDED SOCIETY!
Everyone isn't equal, but you shouldn't force them to be more unequal then they are, for that. Only helps to seperate humanity, and, start wars. Renember that!

Haha! I'll tell him that after ridiculing him in front of his 'followers'. I'll tie him to a pole and strip him down to his underwear and tell people what a nazi he is. "I'll give you Thatcherism you little c**t!". It's the only way.

If i were you che1990,

I would start reading into leadership techniques good and proper. The way you sit, look at people and generally act can actually help you win support and even arguments. I cant think of references off the top of my head sorry, but i have some tips. Youll probably know some of them and theyll seem pretty common sense.

Keep eye contact.

Walk with confidence and a sort of pride. Back straight, long gait, smooth motions, arms upswinging forwards. It will look kind of like an ape or G Bush but it works.

If you shake hands make sure his hand is closer to you than him, if you can hold his arm at the elbow in a sort of control position.

There are loads more to display different feelings and purposes but those should help you a bit.

Do chara de geo.

I have the same problems at my school, whatever you do don't identify yourself as a socialist or communist, instead just use leftist. In school they try to teach you how bad communism is, making school a horrible enviornment for leftist ideas. Don't try to engage him in an arguement because he has friends to back up his ideas with him. Don't use violence, just ignore him, if you can remain true to your ideals through all the ridicule, people start to become curious about your ideas and you might win some followers as I have.

I think most people believe that people will suffer no matter what is done. I am opposed to foreign aid and an end to suffering because humanity is overpopulated, and if we don't correct that, we will commit ecocide.

In short, KILL HIM. No that wouldn't work another one would just take his place so you have to prove to everyone their that he is an idiot and you know exactly what you are talking about, bring up tough to answer questions for him, then make sure everyone knows if he doesn't know the answer to one of these questions. Also, memorize some of the facts from Fahrenheit 9/11, that helped me a lot in political debates.

I agree Codyvo,

Dont kill him but do engage him and beat him outright. If he refuses to debate say something along the lines of:

"whats the matter? scared of losing an argument? youre weak ideology pities me."

Although, that may not get you the people vote.

People suffer, yes. The world is not perfect, but you shouldn't say that you're opposed to foreign aid and fixing human problems, that's negative outlook on your part -- a huge negative outlook I might add. And the world IS NOT overpopulated -- far from it. Also, how would "correct" that?

I find that teachers for the most part in British Columbia tend to be very agianst conservative political ideology being taught in the classroom. The tone of Social Studies and humanitarian studies is very pro-left.

Wow, if someone were to say something like that in BC schools...they would be facing the wrath of many students and other teachers.

Sick.... that somneone would be pro Thatcher :( YUCK!

I think we should let people everywhere rot and die if the environment cannot handle them. I'm an environmentalist, and I recognize that our #1 problem in the world for everyone is ecocide. Until we stop ecocide, we really don't have any business worrying about anything else, because THERE WILL BE NO LIFE LEFT ON PLANET EARTH.

Death doesn't scare me. I'd kill myself if it would solve the problem, but it wouldn't. So I say let those who cannot be supported by the land die, screw the rich leeches who drain money from our countries, and let's get back to supporting and cleaning up nature. Yes, millions - maybe billions - will die. But who cares - what is their death compared to total loss of our natural environment?

You'd have to be drooolingly stupid to pick human lives over preservation of our natural environment.

screw the rich leeches who drain money from our countries, and let's get back to supporting and cleaning up nature what about all the people who aren’t rich leaches who will die as well, and when they die, there will be a lot of them, what the hell are we going to do with the bodies, won't those spread disease killing off the rest of the environment, i agree though, some rich bastards do deserve to die.

I think we should let people everywhere rot and die if the environment cannot handle them.

But it's got nothing to do with 'the environment can't handle them'. It's third world debt that causes poverty in the third world.
