View Full Version : Racism in the world: my solution.

Even today in our modern society of tolerance and the "everyone should get ahead" mentality, first world nations still suffer from racism and anti-semitism. Where do these problems root? In the ignorance of White Supremacists and underprivileged minorities--that's where. The obvious answer to crushing racism may seem the simplest, but it is actually impossible.

Has it rolled off your tongue already? The concept most believe to be successful, yet by itself meaningless, is education: education for children on how to accept diversity and to wash away any prejudiced thoughts. Now, don't think I'm against that, no way; you simply just can't rely only on education to remove racial tensions in the progressive here-and-now. You need to mix it with other ingredients-- To me, at least, cheerios taste much better with sugar :).

I think we can all agree that western civilization has, fortunately, adopted the philosophy of Utilitarianism--the greatest good for the greatest number. Any what better way of measuring equality with quantity? My solution draws heavily upon this American ideal; and instead of trudging up a mountain of problems and tension, I believe this quickest and fastest way to truly spread this egalitarian doctrine is to make it so that everybody is a brother in EVERY sense of the word.

I call for racial homogenization on a global scale. One only needs to look at history to see that wars were predominately fought by one race group against another. And how can one be racist against themselves? Furthermore, one race-one color will make the entire concept of racial prejudice nonexistent as there will be no standard of comparison. I hear you asking, "But won't people remember race from history text books?" Well, yes--but remember that text books may need to be slightly altered so that race is a more semantically applicable term: the human race, the only race!

Some events, however, we must make an exception. Stories must be told that must not be forgotten. This categorical imperative applies to victims of White Slavery and the Holocaust. The irrefutable truths of millions enslaved for hundreds of years in White Servitude and millions exterminated by a nationalist madman; these facts must not go unforgotten in the world. I do hate to seem to deviate slightly in my ideology, but I'm not an extremist in any context.

Creating a human race may seem like a daunting task, and we certainly don't want to take away anybody's freedom. But keep in mind that anyone that would refuse to engage in multiculturalism would be a de-facto racist, thus we need to force them to mate with a more tolerant individual for the good of the whole. I do not foresee the citizens of the world on any scale of importance holding this taboo; racism has been in remission and multiculturalism has lit the way for a better tomorrow.

Many have died for the right to have equal rights among their human brothers; now, let's ensure that right for an eternity!

I truly hope that I put this in the right board. That would be very unbecoming of me, as it was my first post.

Ah well. It ties in to my overall ideology.

Ok you didn't really put any solution forward. Its was more of a warm hearted rambling.

First you have to really understand what constitutes 'race', which is still in debate. The whole term race is subjective. There are many examples where people have recgonised themselves with a 'race' that was different to the gentic make up.

Also you assume to much that race is a defining factor in the difference between two people. This has been a common white thought throughout colonisation, that skin colour defined race and that people of different race were so different that they couldn't have any relations other then one race employing in some cases slavery.

Now days the the advance of technology you don't have slaves, you have workers that in most cases will receive the same amount of pay.

Now we talk about diversity of many races, still believing that race can highlight the difference between two people. So to have diversity we just need many people of different race.

Yet there are many cases where different races share the same culture. Although in their private lives they may have a some different cultural practices, such as cooking a traditional dinner or some come of cermony etc.

So its hardly that race constitutes as something so differen't that there needs to be homogenization, rather its nationality, socio-econimic and cultural difference.

For example i would get along better with man of dark skin who has lived in Australia then i would with European descendant living in the US.

Thats insanse. You cant force people to mate, and then label them a racist if they dont comply. Its borderline facism.

The American ideal? What? America hardly runs on the idea of the greatest good for the greatest number. Western civilization has been perverted by Capitalism and Imperialism, both oppressive.

The solution to racism is to educate the masses, to destory the racist elements of society and to create equality to those oppressed. People arent borne racist, they are conditioned to be racists.

Race is a social construct, and that's entirely the problem. Those that see race PERCIEVE it as being existant, not that it actually is. I want all cultures and so-called racial groups to mx into one so there can be no distinction. I think you didn't fully understand my plan.

If someone didn't want to reproduce with someone of another race then they would be racist. If someone chose to only, say, have sex with whites that would be racist as they are discriminating against minorities based off the color of their skin. It isn't fascism; it's fighting against fascism and preventing it from ever lifting it's wart-infested head out of the hellhole it resides.

The American ideal? What? America hardly runs on the idea of the greatest good for the greatest number. Western civilization has been perverted by Capitalism and Imperialism, both oppressive.

Capitalism markets products to the masses, and wants to turn as much people into consumers to have a utilitarian profit. Imperialism is bad because it is a white power structure but if the intent of an imperialistic empire was to promote diversity then it would be in the best interest of humankind. You're against borders, I assume? It is the same thing; remove all borders and unite all people as One, not many. I exclude exclusion.

The solution to racism is to educate the masses, to destory the racist elements of society and to create equality to those oppressed. People arent borne racist, they are conditioned to be racists.

We've been trying that for a long time now--over 50 years in fact. We still have groups such as the BNP from Britian arising and the National Front from France. Whatever the cause of racism is, it arises from White power structures and racial homogenization will prevent those from ever coming back.

Thats my point. What would this achieve?

You're forgetting a very important factor to human proecreation; love (or attraction) How will you control who people are attracted to. Forcing people to behave the way you want them to is totalitarian. What if I live and Sweden and the majority of people there are white, am I racist if I have children with a white woman?

You're over simplifying things, things like the abolition of racism take hundreds of years and Imperialism isnt just a white power structre, many African, S.American, and Asian nations have built Empires.

Racism is a mood, its an idealogy, we must detroy those who propogate such ideals as well as the material realities that allow them to exist.

hmm. I don't agree, I think diversity is what makes the human race interesting. The problem is not diversity, --fear or hatred is.

Anyway, there is a flaw in your theory. You say homogenize into one race.
Which race would that be?
If you choose one race over another --- that is advocating a race supremacy of itself.

I think to do what you suggest would entail having to scientifically manipulate genetics.

Take me for example: a mix of two races: White, of Irish origin and Native American.
That mix has not prevented me from inherently getting from the gene pool blonde hair and blue eyes.

My answer to rascism is to tattoo everyone at birth with red. All over.

Or maybe we could swap babies from Asia and Europe and Africa.

Or we could just kill everyone but Australian Aboriginal people. That would get rid of racism.

Or we could just educate people. Education is the key, if people believed in rationality and thought rationally, then they would realise that racism is stupid.

All excellent strategies.

Education is the Key!!! and exposure and cross-cultural association at an early early age to all races and ethnicities.

Im in favor for life sentences of forced hard labour for all neo-nazis and other racist types.

Oh and forced steralization (sp) of above mentioned parties.

Racism or prejudice of any kind stems from lack of understanding. Simply expose people to heavy diversity from an early age and acceptance and an open-mind will form itself.

Places with the most racism are small villages or rural areas, that's a general rule that spans a globe, people who are not exposed to heavy diversity are more likely to develop prejudiced attitudes. You can't do anything about it, rural farmlands rely on big cities as much as big cities rely on rural farmlands.

I can't see how you would implement this idea even with the cooperation of every world government. To actually breed humans into one homogeneous ethnicity would be close to impossible.

You combine a civilization of South American Indians with a sub-Saharan African civilization, and you combine a civilization of Southeast Asians with a Mediterranean civilization, and you simply get two new races. To make everything totally equal, you would have to have completely coordinated breeding charts, or else you just wind up with a bunch of new races.

The solution to racism is to change the paradigm. We need to get people thinking in terms of class conflict instead of conflict between races, nations, and religions.
