Hello, I am new here. I am a Irish Republican as you can tell but i have become more interested in Socialism lately. I would like to hear other memebers opinion on the Socialist Party USA http://www.sp-usa.org. Thanks.

The Socialist Party USA is a coalition of reformist and utopian socialist.
There are two main groups within the party, the Debs Tendency (Democratic socialist-syndicalist) and the Direct Action Tendency (libertarian socialist).

well im a member of the sp-usa, and im a co-organizer of the debs tendency, there are libertarian socialists,anarchists,syndicalists in the DA< of which im also a member, and a lot of marxists.trots,deleonists, etc... in the DT

There are a lot of members in the SP that are marxist, and i think its the best group to join because it doesnt discriminate against different sects of socialism
