If everyone was a mod then sooner or later a cappie would tear the boards down...

In communism the people have the power so everyone should be admin!

If I am allowed to opine.

I think only trusted members should be admins (the way it is now, yes?). The admins should also be elected in a democratic way, and removing a person from their position the people on this site would feel the need for such an action.

Well, this isn't a communist society. This is a forum.

If there was a failure, or a problem with the current system (on this forum), changes would be needed. But if there is nothing wrong with the status quo, what's the point?

Ironically, the forums are run by Leninist practices, we have the CC (Commie Club) that runs the forums, the CC members are selected after showing that they are dedicated to leftist ideology.

I totally agree. Make the majority rule! Or if NOT, every decision should be polled about. INCLUDING banning and restrictions :D

You're post stinks of a counter-revolutionary secretly conforming with the old reactionary burgeouise contraptions......The rule of the minority can never be truely Communistic, whether or not this board is "aiming" to be like such a society! I'm beginning to doubt if you deserve the title you wear so dearly <_<

What about THIS: The whole forum only led entirely by moderators, in a decantralized and democratic way? ;)

If you're feeling oppressed then overthrow us...if not, then stop whinging :P

Like it or not, the CC is the only safe, sensible way of running the boards. It's far more democratically run than any other forum...

This forum, though run by non-capitalist revolutionaries, is undeniably at the mercy of a capitalist world.

If we were to "open up" the forum, capitalist tendencies would wreck havok upon this fine forum.

While capitalism is the status-quo, we cannot escape it, and hence, we my treat it accordingly: in this case, protect ourselves from their grasp.

I am sure that I have seen this question before. Or at least one so like it that it makes no difference. How 'bout each new member get sent a PM (automatically) that outlined how and why revleft is run like it is (or at least a link to this info). This would stop the vast majority of these questions.
