Hello all. I'm new here. (obviously) I've been 'lurking', that is to say, I've been reading some of your posts, and I think most of u make a lot of sense...

For the most part, I agree with your statements, on certain issues, though I am still trying to figure out just how I feel about the States, AND where I stand politically....Don't mind my ignorance...but I'm not that ignorant anyway!

Revolutionary Spirit:: I read in a post somewhere your statement:"America=Terrorists" I would agree with u on that.

I'm soo sick of this current state of patriotism, it makes me nauseous.

What happened a year ago, on this very day, WAS a tragedy, and a sad thing to behold, but the fact remains that the U.$.A got a taste of its own medicine.

You create a monster, and it comes back and bites you in the ass. There are countless examples of U$A's injustice, and oppression of peoples around the world, or atleast their hand in it.

The terrorists of 9/11 were Islamic Fundamentalists. Extremists. Fanatics. Misinterpreters of the Qur'an. And that's that. What they did was sheer evil.

But what has to be done to fight this monster, that is Capitalism?? Are there better ways to go about this?? Is the U$A a FREEDOM FIGHTER"??? hmmmmm...

Your comments please.

!PEACE!

There is nothing wrong with the "We will never forget statement". Should we forget the world wars? The atomic bombings in japan? No. Why should we forget 9-11? The U.S. goverment is just using 9-11 as an excuse for war and a pedestal for patriotism. Hate the goverment, not the slogans of the people. We will never forget is not a pro-u.s. statement.

Exactly. I think that part of the problem, or maybe a big part of it, is the fact that the U.$.A continues to see itself as the most important country in the world. This sort of attitude has lead to the anti-American sentiment that is soo very prevalent. The U$ has shoved its democracy its culture down everyone's throat, abroad.

Patriotism is dangerous.

I see 9/11 as just another suicide bombing, not anymore important/worse than the others, its just that Americans think they are the greatest people on the planet and everyone should feel sorry for their "tragedy".

Don't include me in your "we". I don't forget other acts of genocide and i recognize that the terrorist acts on september 11th are nothing to be held high. They are much less then the daily activites of many countries. Just as no one should forget the Holocaust, Stalin's purges, or the Armenian genocide, no one should forget September 11th. No one should ever forget any crime commited against innocent civilians.
