Its funny that it is really hard for bands to find a real bass player and on this topic alone there are 4 others plus myself.

Chinghis is the Tuvan version of the Mongolian Ghengis. Have you seen Ghengis Blues the doco about the blind American blues singer Paul Penya and his travels to Tuva?

I can play every instrument there is although I can't read sheet music or tablature and have no formal training... and I don't know any songs ;) . So can you, nobody needs training. I'm inspired by The Shaggs, Half Japanese and all outsider music.

I've played banjo before (easiest instrument I've ever learned)

I've played my father's mandolin and ukulele before (but he's a much better musician then me).

I've been in a few bands, but none very good:
Punk (bass)
Ska (12string/6string[see below])
Jazz (7string)
New Wave (bass)

There are usualy better guitarists then me available, so the only time I've played 6string was for this horrible band. . .kind of like ska, but not really enough members. . .we called it "Dr. Steve and the Testicles". . .it was bad enough we had a kazoo player. . .we got a gig at a bar, and after our first song ("Your Sister Raped Chewbaaca") we were thrown out.

Through high school I earnt my keep playing mostly guitar in a band and on the streets. Taught lessons for a while, and guitar maintanence. Play most guitar based instruments, alhough primarily six string. Also play bodhran and didge.
