This isn't a reactionary thread is it?

Doesn't seem quite as harsh as the Stalin pics though.

Surely you're joking?

Or do you mean, in regards to the way you view Stalin, you cannot understand the way in which he is depcited as it is not accurate in your view?

In response to the "Stalin"-thread, meh, I 'spose? Seems fair :D
But if I am to give that image a critique, I have to say I don't see what's so funny about it. If it's meant to SMEAR Trotsky....hmmm...then I have to get what's wrong with peace, utopia and german pledges/altruism? Heh.....

Wrong. They make perfect sense; Meanwhile YOUR pictures hit Trotsky as someone who cooks up "socialist theories" in a pot (and what's wrong with that? Stalin did the same! "Sosialism in one country"!) the STALIN-dissing pictures hit him with his treaty with Hitler potraying him as a bride to Hitler, walking hand in hand down a road both with guns behind their backs ready to shoot, aslong as the marriage lasts. Of course that both makes sense and gives a more accurate critic of Stalin than just acusing him of mixing up theories. Atleast he didn't concile with the enemy. Permanent revolution kicks ass.....

HAHAH you fucking dickhead.

It depicts Trotsky as a little boy with childish ideas. The picture is tittled "trotsky that mischief boy".

I removed it.

I'm not having people laughing at pictures of a murdered revolutionary. :)

Sorry.

The drawing of Trotsky is a bourgeois drawing, depicting him as "another dope smoking communist." The very fact that it was published in the West proves, contrary to your Stalinist mythology, that Trotsky played a huge role in the Russian revolution.

As opposed to most of the Stalin criticism?

The whole Hitler and Stalin similarity talk is a product of the west. Trotsky when talking about the rise of Fascism blamed the "Stalinist" parties because of their incompetence to rally the workers to the evils of Fascism.

Even though that may or may not be true it shows that Trotsky realised the difference between "stalinism" and Fascism.

It is only Western Liberals who do not understand Marxism-Leninism to realise the difference between Fascism and Marxism-Leninism.

I have opened this topic, on the condition that the topic is kept to.

Otherwise, if like before it drifts off (especially to the stupid arguments that were here), it will be swiftly closed.
