I was watching the news and they mentioned how American band Audioslave performed in Cuba and it was giving a taste of what American culture can offer to the deprived Cubans... as told by them...
Here's a more informative article:

What the news show forgot to mention was that Audioslave is RAtM minus the original lead singer. They also forgot to mention that they were rocking anti-American imperialism songs.
I love T.V. news

Why oh why, doesn't we just LOVE biased news ;)
But how can you be sure that they songs are of anti-American content.
The titles seem very metamorphic and up to debate to speculate on it's definition.

Audioslave played RATM songs like "Bulls for the parade" and the crowd went wild  it was just instrumental without vocals * i can't imagine Chris singing this song though*

It's nice to see another band with leftwing leanings do what the Manic Street Preachers did years ago!
More evidence that the manics rock, that RATM - Zack copy them.
Hurrah for origionality!

Considering Rage Against the Machine and Zach De La Rocha weren't even there I'd have to say this comment makes no sense whatsoever.

Yes, because playing in the same country that another band did at one point is SO copying them.

You fail to under stand me, the "-" was actually meant as the mathematical symbol for 'minus'. In future I must remember to use the "<>" keys.
A leftist band playing in Cuba, clearly because of the leftwing connotations of Cuba, is not new. It has already been done, thus it is a copy, an replication of another bands action. Lacking origionality, it has already been done, it is most passe.
Are you fucking deaf? Manic Street Preachers are boring and lame

Ian, your ignorance is dangerous. YOU are boring land lame. :P
But seriously, just because the Manics did it, doesn't mean that noone else should do it becasue it's "passe". What an absolute load of shit.
Audioslave are the first major US band to play in Cuba. Think of the implications to the blockade. It is a good thing, get it?
"YOU are boring land lame"
make sense next time please, crazy 'Deadly Serious Party' members
And also it is not due to ignorance that I dislike MSP, I've listened to plenty.

:o Ian has insulted the MSP... I think I'm going to cry.
From MTV.Com (http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1501468/20050509/audioslave.jhtml?headlines=true)
" As Morello said, the rock-and-roll embargo had come to an end. It was all rock, all love, no hate. (OK, there was that one American flag being displayed upside down — and probably not by accident — for the entirety of the show, but there's always one in the bunch ...)."
:(
If I went to a RATM Concert, I would proably see 10 or 15 :/

Rock on!

That's the way it goes, Ian believes his taste in music is the ultimate, I think everyone has as much right to think that as I do, but they are still wrong.
