Now, they knee-jerk reaction to this name is 'NAZI BURN THEM', and on this BB a few months, thats exactly what happened, when someone wanted to say that national socialism isnt actually the same as nazism, they were shot down, banned, and generally flamed into a non-existence, so spare me that crap eh ? ;)
And before anyone bans me, im just typing up a theory for you all to debate over, im not a nationalist, a nazi, or anything else you want to call me, I just thought some intelligent debate about this could be nice. :)
Righty, first off, socialism - the want, through the use of the standing political system, do implement a people-based government, non centralised, without autocrats or monarchs, and with the local people having the say as to how they're local area is run, not politicians in the capital.
Nationalism - The idea that your country should be seperated from the rest of the world, appart from by trade links etc, and made strong through interalization and the use of government power to create strong industry and economy. Some nationalists get a little extreme, but we'll stick to this version for now.
So national socialism - the want to promote your country itself, through the creation of a workers state that exists independantly of foreign rule and regulation, where the government is localised, but still the government, albeit on a smaller scale (many local governments). Industry would be regulated by these people sponsored local governemtns, and the rest is a mix of the above..
RIGHTy, Nazis - the followers of Hitler in the 1930's - 1950's, wanted to destroy the european jewery, and anyone else that wasnt purely arayan, basically white sumpremacists given tanks and guns. NAZI - an amalgamation of the words national and socialism (their german equivalents at least). Their ultimately destructive tendancies reduced them to nothing...
So, national socialism, just something given a bad name by one group of dead guys ? (see also - communism, the british conservative party)
